Pies are a tradition in American homes for Thanksgiving, Christmas or Holiday dinners. This pecan pie recipe is a family favorite and I gladly share it with you and your family

Mom’s Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

1 15 oz. pkg refrigerated piecrusts

3 large eggs

1 c. sugar

3/4 c. light corn syrup

2 tbsp. butter, melted

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 c. pecan halves or pieces

Pecan Pie Recipe 

 

Directions:

Unroll 1 piecrust and place on a highly floured surface

lightly brush top of crust with water

unroll remaining crust and place over bottom crust

gently roll or press crusts together

fit into a 9-inch pieplate

fold edges under and crimp

Stir together eggs and next 5 ingredients

stir in pecans

por filling into piecrust
